VETERANS

The San Francisco VA Hospital and Veterans Home in Yountville
are no longer accepting donated items.
Several of our members honor our veterans by watering the plants at the War Memorial located on the Avenue of the Flags at the Marin County Civic center. This keeps the site beautiful for the Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies. We present a wreath at the Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies to honor their sacrifice and service.

ACTIVE DUTY TROOPS

Our club supports our active-duty troops. Each month we pack care boxes at Move America Forward in Sacramento. Check the newsletter for information on the next scheduled date (usually the first Monday of the month) and reserve your spot in the carpool!
You can also help Move America Forward by donating packages to a trooper, a squad, or a platoon! www.moveamericaforward.org

VOTER REGISTRATION

A voter registration booth is set up at the Village Shopping Center in Corte Madera on two Saturdays in the spring and fall to register new voters, those who have moved or are changing parties, and to remind Marinites that there are Republican Women in Marin. Consider spending a couple of hours spreading the news about our club and the GOP. The many positive comments, and the few negative ones, are always informative. To be added to the volunteer list, contact president@marinrepublicanwomen.com

MRWF SATELLITE CLUB

Open to all members, Satellite Club is a non-structured evening, usually held in a member’s home. We generally meet the last Friday of the month (dark June, July, August and November, with a holiday gathering in early December), from 6 – 9 p.m. Attendees bring a beverage of choice and food (for 8-10) to share. Mates, dates and friends are welcomed. If you thirst for some conservative discussion and comradery, in a setting where you don’t have to watch what you say, this is the group for you!
