Lydia is traveling to the National Federation of Republican Women Convention in Orlando, FL on September 25th. She saw the opportunity to Meet & Greet with us on her travel stopover. Join us: meet an extraordinary person; hear her personal and family story of becoming a U.S. Citizen. Learn about CFRW’s 100th Anniversary which will be celebrated October 16 – 18, 2025 at our California State Convention in Costa Mesa.

Falun Gong Movement Publisher of the Epoch Times, Producer of Shen Yun Performances showcasing Traditional Chinese Culture

Topic: Truth vs. Tyranny: Falun Gong and the CCP’s Transnational Repression

We are all familiar with the beautiful dance performance of Shen Yun. What we don’t always know is that behind the stunning choreography, colorful costumes and integration of classical historical Chinese dance is a group of Falun Gong practitioners dedicated to the mission to showcase the beauty, majesty, and spirituality of China’s 5,000-year-old civilization while the CCP continues its repressive campaign against them.

An ancient Chinese spiritual practice of mind and body, in 1992 Falun Gong was introduced to the public in China by Mr. Li Hongzhi. Within 7 years, an estimated 100 million people in China were striving to adhere to Falun Gong’s principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance” — values that stand in stark contrast to the deceit and brutality of communist ideology.

In the late 1990s, Falun Gong gradually transitioned from being officially endorsed to being harassed. In July 1999, it dramatically and abruptly became the target of a massive eradication effort.

Over the past 25 years, millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, more than 100,000 sentenced, and it is reported that hundreds of thousands have been killed in forced organ harvesting.

Falun Gong has become one of the CCP’s most resilient and unyielding critics, posing a direct and sustained challenge to its very existence. U.S. Congress members have also condemned CCP’s transnational campaign of repression. Please join us to learn more about this fight for freedom.
